To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Stainless Steel, JMS Marketing was tasked with creating a series of graphics for an event in Washington D.C. The timeline was short, each sponsor had a say, and since government officials were on the guest list, the requirements were many. In addition, the graphics and text needed to seamlessly combine two different looks from earlier Stainless Steel Celebrations in Europe.
Using the existing 100 Years of Stainless Steel logo as a constant, I combined the styles and color schemes from both exhibits with American photos to add some American flair for our D.C. audience. I also crafted inspirational headlines for the exhibit pieces that survived a level of scientific scrutiny not seen since the Manhattan Project.
